$10 Hot Water Tank Fix

Updated: Nov 16, 2020

So your hot water tank isn't working, well we might just be able to help. Have you ever noticed that you are running out of hot water much sooner than before? Maybe your water temperature stays just barely warm? Do you have a hot water tank that was manufactured in the 90's? Chances are you have a disintegrated 'dip tube'.

The internet is chock full of videos explaining the replacement procedure so I won't waste your time here. That being said, if you want a simplified explanation please don't hesitate to give us a call.

The most important thing to know is that a dip tube costs less than $10 and an hour to install; substantially less than a complete replacement of your hot water tank. A simple fix that puts more money in your pocket for those future renovation projects.
